I love the Saddleback Leather Ipad case for the first generation Ipad! It is the best quality case on the market in my opinion. I got mine in dark coffee brown to match my SBL briefcase. I think the case will out live the Ipad itself. If you are on the fence about getting one because of the price----do it. Like the SBL website says---it's not about the upfront price---its about the cost per year. I assure you as a new Saddleback Leather addict----you will not be disappointed. The looks alone, not to mention its functionality, are first class. Like all Saddleback products the Ipad case is over-engineered. I have had mine almost a month and it is barely getting broken in. I love it so much I had my Deacon bless my new case, that holds my Bible and Magnificate. BUY ONE NOW! (No I do not work for SBL)

Originally bought the magnetic cover from APPLE...dropped the IPAD once... had temporary damage. Ordered this case and it's extremely sturdy for a "soft" case. No zippers nor snaps to wear out or break...old style (think 19th century construction). Made to last and no parts to wear out. And attractive appearance.

Dimensions: 10.5Ó x 8.5" 100% Hypoallergenic 4 to 5 oz (2.0mm to 2.2mm) thick Full Grain chrome tanned leather. Usually, cowboy and work boots are made with 1.8mm - 2.0mm thickness. And, our leather isn't "buttery soft" (fibers separated and broken down by hours of tumbling and stretching at the tannery). It's your job to tenderize it with use.The double zero continuous-filament Polyester thread we use is a little thicker than what is used on most boots. It's impressive and expensive.
